Amazon Alexa and Echo

Has anyone connected their LumenCache to be controlled by Alexa?

We're planning to create an Alexa product that is a wall switch snap-in module. LumenCache will power the module and provide the PoE behind it and the face is a wall switch/touch pad.

We have :D :D :D

For years we have used the DemoPad software as our automation system in all our HA builds and with their new Centro8M controller, lets us add Alexa for voice control. Using IFTTT and the 'Maker' channel, it fires off a command to the Centro which in turn fires a 'macro', add in LumenCache and we have voice controlled lighting.

Even though we are in New Zealand, we experience no lag in firing macros once Alexa "sends" the command to IFTTT, the longest wait we have had was about 1.5 seconds, nothing in the scheme of things.

Thanks Jared for the example video. We've sent it to Amazon to see if we can accelerate the development team with their support. This is just ONE example of how the Echo and Alexa technology can be easily implemented in a LumenCache enabled home or office. Talk about Plug and Play!

I know this is old. But there really needs to be Alexa integration. This should come from LumenCache.
