We have a motion sensor switch that is connected to a string of two lights. The same motion sensor switched lights are connected to a wall switch.
The motion detector triggering is inconsistent, and when the light are in the OFF position, one of the lights remains dimly lit and the other light appears to turn off.
Wondering if anyone has ideas on where to begin troubleshooting. I can provide a more in-depth description if this helps.
Thanks,
Lydell

Re: Motion sensor light triggering inconsistent, also dims when switched off
This appears to be two separate issues combined. The dimly lit LED when lights are commanded OFF is likely because the one LED in series is dead and the CCB (Boost) driver does not see enough voltage across the remaining LED series array. Boost drivers must see LED Vf at least 3v higher than the PDM Vin. Fix this first.
The issue of the motion sensor could be sensitivity or the lux setting is too high. Turn the Lux setting to 7 (24H) to allow it to turn ON when occupancy is detected regardless of the ambient light level.
