Our goal of creating a quality smart infrastructure starting with lighting meant we needed to make simple wall switches (see announcement), but the Scenes feature built into the L2-DM modules needs a multi-button UI (keypad). So we made a beautiful glass face touchpad.
It ships with a blank glass face so you can insert any graphics you want during the homeowners "settling in period". Once the labels have been determined, order a printed custom graphics face and simply change the glass with only 4 screws.
A small switch on the back allows selecting buttons 1-4 or 5-8 so two or more can be connected to the same L2-DM and share up to 8 button functions across the TPs.
See the L2-DM spec sheet and serial protocol for details on the scenes and buttons. The L2-EGW allows configuration without knowing the serial codes.
The most exciting part is the built-in setup macros allowing All On, All OFF, and a Scene to be configured without any gateway or software at all.

Re: L2-TP1111 4-button decora Touchpads
The following files can be used to cut out temporary graphics for the L3-TP-1111-D touch keypads.
Print and cut out the template you want to use.
Remove the 4 screws in the corners under the TP.
Insert the template and reassemble the TP.
Replace the 4 screws being careful to not strip the plastic parts (do not overtighten).
