Wiring from switch to light

I know that the homerun from the processor to the light & then the switch is the correct way, but is there a way to run to the switch first and then to the light? how do I need to wire this?

You sure can. The L3-WK-D switches and L3-TP Touchpad switches have 2 RJ45 already. Just plug PDM wire into one and the light into the other side. Does not matter which RJ45, they are the same.
