Re: Control4 Driver/Integration
The new gateway being field tested in January will emulate a Lutron system so dozens of control systems can have instant compatibility. A Lutron driver will not support all the extra features a LumenCache system has over Lutron but you gain instant integration including auto-identification of device...

Re: Energy Use Monitoring
The addressable model of the L-CCS-x drivers has power sensing built in so you can get energy readings per device. A constant voltage version will follow. This allows power profiling apps to detect a problem with a device based on its historical power or absolute level triggers. The PMM will do powe...

Re: LumenCache Savant lighting integration.
We formed a relationship with Global Cache at CEDIA show this September. Basically, we will embed their module into some of our products so the GC protocol will pass through the gateway into the light/room of choice. You can control AV equipment, AC units with IR controls, etc. As for Savant control...

Re: Gaming integration. Full environmental play
Example is Xbox kinect camera looks at room lighting, tests each light in house for a relation to the room, and maps to spacial relationship. Then games can control lights. Intensity, color, etc. No complex configuration. All automatic.

Gaming integration. Full environmental play
One great application is the ability for gaming systems to interact with the gamers environment. The goal of VR is the same but there are many opportunities to bring the real environment into the game. LumenCache has powerful networking and integration in adiction to control over power to most conne...

Re: Amazon Alexa and Echo
Thanks Jared for the example video. We've sent it to Amazon to see if we can accelerate the development team with their support. This is just ONE example of how the Echo and Alexa technology can be easily implemented in a LumenCache enabled home or office. Talk about Plug and Play! https://www.youtu...

Superlight in Australia
Can someone in Australia get Superlight onboard with the partner program? www.superlight.com.au They have great looking lights and most are 100% compatible with LumenCache electrically, just need to swap the AC driver with the SIB connector. Contact dcowburn@ lc for partner introduction documents.

Re: Occupancy Sensor
L-WP1 switchpucks respond to transitions Off to On (occupied begins) and On to Off (occupied ends). The A/D switchput input expects to see a 7500ohm resistor in series with the data lines. Connect to the C (Common) and S (Switch/data) terminals of the SIB-SE or Green (Common) and White (Switch/data)...

Amazon Alexa and Echo
Has anyone connected their LumenCache to be controlled by Alexa?
We're planning to create an Alexa product that is a wall switch snap-in module. LumenCache will power the module and provide the PoE behind it and the face is a wall switch/touch pad.

Hackathon facial recognition lighting fun
IoT Fuse in Minneapolis and Trouble Maker in Shenzhen held a Global Hackathon event last month. I took some weekend time off to play with some old IoT Gateway prototypes that clearly need to be relaunched. Thanks to Brock for finding the cool facial recognition software. 3 hours of hacking and this ...
